"Cherish the time you have with your loved ones as you never know when it will be your last and look forward to 2014 and embrace all it has to offer because you deserve it."

As the last few articles have been about advice and information I thought I would give you a personal touch for the festive season and going forward to 2014...

When I was asked to be involved in Women Scorned I was not sure how I could be of help to anyone on a website or what to expect but  I can truthfully say  I have really enjoyed writing the articles for the website and sharing in people’s stories.  It’s a great way to reflect on my knowledge and experience and share with others.

It’s been quite exciting watching how the website has unfolded and grown and seeing how it has affected the ladies who have accessed the site and shared their experiences.

I have also joined the website and the Forum so I can interact with people accessing the sites as I do love to chat!  But seriously, I do enjoy helping, giving advice, supporting others and, in general, talking!  I’ve had a couple of comments and questions on a post I wrote which honestly gave me a buzz and  it felt really good to point someone in the right direction.

I look forward to 2014 and all that it has to offer.  I will be celebrating the big 40 next year and rather than dreading it I think ‘let’s hit it head on’!  I look forward to continuing with Women Scorned, with helping the people that use the site and also looking forward to the next project.

I have some fab ideas for the New Year but would love to hear from you guys as to what you would like information, advice and support on.  I am open to ideas and suggestions.

Like many, Christmas is a hard time for me as I lost my parents quite young and as Christmas is a time for family it can be hard. I am sure many of you may feel the same way for a number of reasons.

The advice I gave myself many years ago, and I share with you, was to remember the past with all the fondness but make new memories and do something different. So we are off to a sunny climate for the festive period as we have done for the last ten years.

So, with this in mind, I have a Christmas message for you all.

“Cherish the time you have with your loved ones as you never know when it will be your last and look forward to 2014 and embrace all it has to offer because you deserve it.”

I’m going to leave you with a Christmas selfie  which I hope will make you smile.

Wishing you all a merry Christmas and amazing 2014.

Lots of Love
